Day 2

Day 2: My spectacles and the clarity they bring to the day.

30 days

September 21, 2011

I have been a bit lost lately with the day to dayness (this should be a word) I find myself in. I occasionally go through these seasons that are hard but I know are being used to teach me. Right now I am in process of learning to be thankful for the gifts I am given daily. The simple ones like holding my hairy baby's head, baby breath, fresh veggies, two year old's stories, the muscles on my hubby's arms. They are good things that the Lord has made. So I am taking a month to post a photo daily to challenge me to be aware of these gifts. I know this has been done over and over again on other photo blogs but I am going to succumb to the crowd and do one myself. There may be words, there just might be an image as I tend to lean toward. At the end I hope I have learned to be more grateful.

Day one: Hairy head

Chael as well enjoys taking pictures with me so I am allowing him to do this project with me. His photo here.

One month old on this day. The previous night was long, oh so long. This picture documents our morning routine, cuddles and thanksgiving that Denny is finally happy. He is always happy during the day or should I say he is always asleep during the day. I know this time will pass soon so I am trying to enjoy the sleepless nights and sleepy days.

I love this memory so much! Sophia and Chael did a wonderful job being a flower girl and ring bearer. She encouraged him all the way down the isle, he walked at snail pace all the way down the isle. They made it together down the isle...to a very happy mama.

The bride and groom were just as lovely.
