Day 10: Creative art 

Day 10: Three year old boys. 

Chael does not enjoy the "Happy Birthday" song. His way to cope with the tune is to violently rub his eyes. Of course I remember growing up and having panic attacks at the thought of being sung to on my birthday. When I reached an age to make demands the song was not allowed at my parties. The worst memory of the dreaded tune was when I was six or seven and was taken to a mexican restaurant for dinner. The sombrero appeared and about ten employees to wish me the best. I couldn't help but break down into tears in front of my friends. Even the free fried ice cream could not console me. I don't know why I made my little boy endure the song twice.

I do love you my sweet boy.

Day 7: Morning light

 
Yesterday was busy and I didn't touch my camera. This isn't going to be a consecutive project as I have broken that twice now. I guess that is to be expected as my days are far from routine or scheduled right now. I am continuing today with this image. I love these letters on our fridge as I am often gifted with messages left by visitors. I often find names of children that have came and played or this message left by someone from our SOMA group that meets weekly in our home. "Give thanks" is a message so fitting for this project and one I am going to leave for awhile.
