I woke this morning with my hands ready to get something done. I had every intention of making something wonderful, beautiful, creative. Once I got my morning business done and Chael off to dreamland, I found myself staring at a multitude of supplies. Now the looming question what to do? I grabbed some material started cutting, sniping, and stitching. After about an hour or so I had made myself an object that still remains nameless. My statement to my wonderful husband who I know was secretly laughing at me was, "I have created something completely useless."

It got me thinking though about how God has created me. He has made me with a purpose to glorify Him. I don't have to wonder what am I made for but rather rest in my creator knowing that He has sovereignty made me. The Lord doesn't make His creation useless. Nor did He begin without an exact plan for each and every part of His creation.

"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth." Psalm 139:13-15
